GENERAL CONDITIONS - CHALLENGE INTEREMPRESAS CONTRA EL HAMBRE 2024
Challenge Interempresas contra el Hambre 2024 is a solidarity and teambuilding race in which companies sponsor their employees by contributing €166 per race bib (participant). The funds raised will go towards the fight against hunger in the more than 55 countries where the organisation works. To participate, the company commits to a minimum contribution of €2,000.
PRE-RACE
- Deadline for registration of the company in the Challenge up to 20 working days before the race. Deadline to register employees up to 20 working days before the race. After this deadline, no registrations can be made.
- Action Against Hunger promotes the race in different media and via its own channels. The hashtag #ChallengeContraelHambre will be used on social media
- Photocall: Companies that confirm their participation before 26 September will be able to have their logo printed in full colour on the photocall that will be present at all the races.
- Once your company's participation has been confirmed, the following material should be sent to your contact at Action Against Hunger: full colour company logo in vector format and one-colour logo in vector format.
- Once your participation has been confirmed, your company logo will appear on the Challenge website in the participating companies section, unless otherwise stated by the company.
- To promote the race among your employees, Action Against Hunger provides the following material free of charge:
- Personalised race flyer with your company logo for emailing
- “Last call" to register and “Save the date".
- Action Against Hunger provides companies with a T-shirt with their logo for each registered runner. The colour options for the T-shirts are: grey, blue, green and orange. Each company chooses a colour. The logo is printed on the T-shirt in one colour (one ink).
- Registration of runners: each employee registers directly via the Challenge website, indicating the company to which they belong. Action Against Hunger will send a detailed list of those registered as often as requested.
- 10 days before the race, Action Against Hunger publishes on the Challenge website and sends to company managers specific information about the race (timetable, location, access, services,...) in a format that can be forwarded to employees.
RACE
- Race duration: 3:30 hours.
Timetable:
- Arrival: From 8:30 to 9:00 a.m.
- Race: from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
- Break, prize-giving and photos: 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.
- Runners can bring their family members, but they cannot participate in the race unless the company covers the cost of each extra race bib.
- There is a children's playroom at the venue for the children of the runners, with face painting and storytelling.
- Each runner receives a welcome pack consisting of: T-shirt, race souvenir, information leaflets.
- Each runner has health insurance.
- On the day of the race there is food and drink for the runners. Food and drink (7 euros/ticket) is included in the race bib price.
- Each runner has a bib number with a chip to count their kilometres.
- At the end of each race, the race results (runner name - time - distance) are published.
- Award category:
- Team category: (companies) first, second and third place.
- Men's category: first, second and third place.
- Women's category: first, second and third place.
POST-RACE
- The results and photos of the race are published on the Challenge website the day after the event.
- Action Against Hunger sends company managers a summary of the race with the overall results of the race, the specific results of their employees and the equivalent in days of nutritional treatment achieved.
- Upon receipt of the donation for participation in the Challenge, Action Against Hunger issues the corresponding tax deduction certificate and a diploma to each company.
